safe and secure. Our “Workstation Backup Service” will allow you
have an archive backup of any or all of your workstations, stored
off site.
Although your server may be backed up on tape
or other external device, your workstations are vulnerable to loss
of data such as saved email, address books, locally stored
documents, personal settings and installed programs. Recovering a
workstation from a catastrophic failure can be time consuming and
expensive. If you experience a hard drive crash, some or all of your
data may be lost.
Restoring a computer from an archived image is
faster, cheaper and more complete than starting from scratch and
trying to find data and programs. Generally, your computer can be
restored and put back in service within a few hours instead of a few
days.
Here’s how it works: A Computer Guys technician
will come to your office and make an “image” of any workstations you
want backed up. We will then record these images to CD or DVD for
permanent storage. In the event of a hard drive failure or other
catastrophic loss, we can restore the workstation to the exact
condition of the most recent backup.
Hardware failures, viruses, adware/spyware,
power surges and outages, even simple mistakes can put your
